Anthony Pettis Wins Lightweight Championship in Submission

Anthony Pettis shook up the world, defeating Ben Henderson for the UFC Lightweight Championship belt at UFC 164. Pettis won on a verbal submission (armbar) round 1 4:31, in his hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pettis describe this situation as god workings, seeing as he wasn't suppose to fight for the belt and being a replacement. This is Pettis second time beating Henderson, first was in 2010 for the WEC Light weight title. Henderson after this fight wanted to get the stain out of his legacy,Pettis beating him in 2010. Pettis becomes the only fight to beat Henderson in the UFC . If any knows who Anthony "Showtime" Pettis is you know he hasn't had a easy life, an this title is the next step in Pettis's domination.

Will the Cincinnati Bengals win the AFC North ?

I know this is a bias question because this is my hometown team, but i think they will. This year the Bengals are on +HBO Watch  and +NFLFilmsPresents #Hardknocks, as a Bengals fan all my life, the last few years haven't given me any excitement to believe in the Bengals. Every fan wants their team to go far in the playoffs, and this could be the year Cincinnatians get to experience it. Bengals recently suffered a lost to the Dallas Cowboys 24-18 Saturday night, now making them 2-1 in the preseason. Andy Dalton will have to become a great leader this year, the teams success is on his shoulders. Although he has +AJ Green no one can pretend and say Dalton has the greatest receiving core. I also think that might help him, because his core receivers are all players who have potential to be good.

Look out for guys like Dane Sanzenbacher and Brandon Tate to be the silent threats. Also the Jermaine Gresham and Tyler Eifert TE duo may be a scary site for defenses, the same subject the Bengals receives praise for didn't look great against the Cowboys. I know coach Zimmerman will be correcting that. his guys like James Harrison, Micheal Johnson, Geno Atkins and Vontaze Burfict (please keep a cool head) will make sure the D come prepared. The two rookies i'm rooting for are Giovani Bernard and Margus Hunt, two guys that could be X-Factors. Although the Bengals don't have an easy schedule, i have to keep the my faith in them.

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think, will the win the AFC North.
